Guido Latré, Retired Professor of Literary Studies, Université Catholique de Louvain (Catholic University of Leuven), Belgium. A specialist in early printing in Antwerp, his expertise extends to the production and distribution of sixteenth-century English and Dutch Bibles. He curated several major exhibitions on English and Continental printing in Antwerp and collaborated with Mark Rankin and John King in the design of previous versions of this seminar. He plans to speak to the seminar about the Low Countries’ role in early English printing, co-lead the July 7 seminar session on important theories in Book History, and co-curate our rare book exhibition on July 8.
