Museum Collections Research Internship, Harrisonburg and Dayton, VA
The Heritage Museum, home of the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Historical Society (HRHS) is accepting applications for a research internship for the 2018 Fall Semester. (The selected intern could begin as early as August 6th if s/he wishes.) HRHS is a largely volunteer-run museum with a vast collection of artifacts and archives, but no curator. The Collections Research Intern will identify items of interest, research their stories, and develop mini-exhibit plans. At least one exhibit will be installed during the internship. All interested applicants are welcome, and those interested in public history are highly encouraged to apply.
