For our Outreach Event, we wanted to get the 3D Printing name out there. As 3D Printing continues to grow, more and more people are becoming interested in how to make designs and how to be able to effectively print what they create. That’s where Cam and I came into play. We held our event on December 6th and a few ISAT majors showed up hoping that we could teach them some useful tips and tricks. We decided that Tinkercad would be the best place to start, just like we did in class. We introduced all of the shapes and how to simply rotate items and everyone was enjoying themselves. Overall, I would call it a successful event because coming out of that event we feel as if many people gained some sort of knowledge about 3D Printing that they previously wouldn’t have had!
