Originally, our plan for our OpenSCAD project was to take a photo and and recreate it by using another program called trace2scad to convert it into code. This, we found, was way outside of our knowledge and capabilities when it comes to using OpenSCAD let alone another program. Since this idea did not work out as planned, we decided to create a simple maze since it exemplifies OpenSCADs complex capabilities.

Our code consists of cubes in different translations as well as one sphere.

This is the new design of our maze. We believe this is a better opportunity to express the capabilities of OpenSCAD within our comfort zones as beginners. The photograph conversion would have been a great opportunity but was unfortunately outside of a beginners knowledge.

Our first print came out pretty well for a first print, so we were all exceptionally proud of what we created with OpenSCAD.
