We are trying to make a plant holder with removable legs to have the planter either “sit” or stand.”

Here is the first print experimenting with  varies different leg joints and connected found in TinderCad:

We found that most of the joints and connectors were able to stand the sphere up. However, they were not stable and held in place as much as we would have liked since we are planning to put a plant on these legs. This may cause a problem if the weight of the plant isn’t even through the pot. We might need to make our own joints and connectors or figure out how to use what TinderCad has to fit our purpose.

We then printed out test figures which worked out well for us, they were well balanced and the pegs fit pretty well. We also made one that had no pegs and was sitting to test the sitting position.

We also made a bigger one later on that worked but the pegs printed out funny so we plan to fix that later. The holes were just fine on the grey model, but the pegs were too big so we had to shave some stuff off for it to fit.

The big one in the back was printed alright, but the printer didn’t print the holes so we are thinking of printing it again and hoping the holes print out this time. It’s completely fine other than that.
