About the Project

About/Summary: #ATLStudentMovement is an oral history project that preserves the life experiences of Atlanta University Center students and advocates who helped integrate public facilities and schools in Atlanta through sit-ins, economic boycotts, legal challenges, and student protests as part of the larger American Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s.
