We are trying to make a fancy plant holder. We figured that the hardest part of this project would be to make legs that would be able to have the planter “sit” or “stand.” So we decided to experiment with different way to hold the planter up and detachable “legs.”

This is an experiment print to see what pre-made joints in TinderCad would work best for our project. Below is the all the possible joints and connectors from TinderCad.

We found that not a lot of these joints seemed to have a strong grip that we wanted for our potentially heavy plant. The yellow joint worked the best, however we could not figure out a way for the planter to also be “siting.” Thus we decided to look into making another set of connector perhaps.
