Hi! I’m Emma Freeman, a junior SMAD major (Creative Advertising concentration and Comm minor) who loves JMU. When I was in high school I went to a Women in Technology workshop and learned the bare minimum about 3D Printing but I honestly learned more in class the first day than I learned there.
I grew up in South Carolina then moved to Northern VA and now I go home to Richmond, VA! My family has hopped around a good bit. I traveled out of the country for the first time this past summer to Sweden to visit my extended family. It was so interesting to see the culture in Sweden and the beauty of the country.
I work on campus as an Office Assistant in Madison Union and this summer I had an online internship as the media director for an event planning company. I hope to work in an ad agency post-grad. I currently hold an officer position in my sorority (Theta) and hope to continue holding a position next year. I am also on Exec for JMU’s Advertising club!
Some things I love are drinking tea, taking photos (of things), ice cream, spending time with friends, exploring on Instagram and FaceTiming my (newly born) niece!
