For my final project I decided to make something that I can actually use (and more than once!) My inspiration came from my friend’s 21st birthday coming up so I decided I would make her cookies. So I thought it would be cute to have champagne bottles and 21 shaped cookies. I got some ideas from Thingiverse and then recreated them on my own. I wasn’t a huge fan of the things people made on Thingiverse so I found a way to upload an image to SVG so I then imported that into Tinkercad. I had to modify it a lot so I used InkScape to make the exact shape I wanted. I had to make many different test prints because I didn’t consider that I would have to reflect the 21 for it to turn out right. I also needed to make some of the sides thicker than they were. I then had to raise it to make it a cookie cutter and the tricky part was putting a lip on the cutter to make it more practical. The lip isn’t the most beautiful thing, however that’s not what needs to look nice. They turned out really nice. I didn’t have the time/proper icing ingredients/ baking skills to decorate them the way I envisioned them so I’m having my sister who is an amazing baker/decorator do them for her actual party this weekend. When I have the complete beautiful product I will update the post with another pic of them when they’re pretty. It was really fun and I think I would print more of these to use in the future!
