For the final, I wanted to have fun with it and create an animal of some sort. I decided to create one of my favorite fictional animals, Perry the Platypus. Not only am I printing out a platypus, I’m also making a coin holder. I designed my final product through tinkerCAD and had to use various shapes. I used rectangles with rectangular holes to create the holders for the coins. I created sunglasses for the platypus’ face and fidgeted around with a sphere and made the tail and beak. It took me three prints to perfect the body of the platypus. Pictured above are the feet which I created separately and glued on to the final body. Also, to the bottom right picture you can see all three prints in order from left to right. I truly enjoyed this project and am beyond satisfied with the result. Eventually, I will paint this print so it looks more like the actually character, Perry, from the show Phineas and Ferb.
