We (Me and Lindsey) fixed the mug with the broken handle. Here is a picture before.
We decided to make a handle that was more unique and modern, one that was only connected on the top. It took us a few prints to get this right with the measurements of the hole. We used a hammer to whack part of the top broken piece off so our handle would sit better. We also sanded down the bottom broken part because it was sharp. We used super glue to attach the new handle.
We successfully made a new handle! Final product:
