For the class challenge we decided to make the stand and holder for the expo markers. The design itself was not hard to come up with, but we had ensure the dimensions were correct.
Within this area we would measure the expo markers themselves to ensure they would eventually fit the dimensions and hold the markers. Next, we added the extensions on the side so that he could screw the markers into the wall. At first, we just had the side pieces and thought we could screw straight into there. Later on we realized that we should add small holes to place the screws in so that it would not break.
The last part of our design was to add ‘expo markers go here’. We believe that this extra detail, makes the overall design look more put together.
Unfortunately, this class challenge ended up being a failure since the holes for the markers turned out to be too small for markers themselves.
