Tinkercad Design Project – Jake Meador and Michael Busch

For our Tinkercad project we decided to make a wall outlet protector. The idea is to make a box/cover for a wall outlet that will protect anything plugged into the outlet from external damages, such as furniture slamming into the plug or accidental pulling of the plug causing the wires to fray. The protector will have a door that pulls up for easy access to the outlet and will have an exit point at the bottom for the cords to go through. I know that i would always have wires get ruined by furniture hitting it when i lived in a dorm room. So this design will be very beneficial for fellow college students with the same issue.
