Hey everyone, Steven and I am planning to make a plant holder. We came up with this idea from browsing the internet for ideas. Coincidentally, we found a plant holder with a cartoon design that we both liked. I personally have a cactus at my apartment with an unattractive plant holder. we decided that making this would be beneficial to us because a nice plant holder could brighten up my room as well as hold my cactus. The reason we wanted to do the cartoon plant holder is because we wanted something difficult, but at the same time very charming and satisfying to create. Some obstacles we may run into include:
- balancing the plant holder to stand by itself
- Making the plant holder sturdy enough to stand by itself with the plant inside
- Making sure the previous plant pot fits into the new one
- designing the character to look cute and not creepy
This above is the reference design we plan to use. Hopefully things will work out.
