Aftermath of an successful Alumni Day!

Harrison hall was filled with energy on Friday, April 11 with students, alumni and faculty enjoying an eventful day for the ‘Springboard Into the Future’ Alumni event. 

The exciting day started off with 5 informative panels throughout the day.

 

The first panel was: Entering into the Fast Paced World of For-Profit Organizations: What to Expect! The panels were led by alumni: Lisa Cochran, Liz Rea & Kristin Butterworth.

The second I graduated with a degree in Communication Studies… Now what?! was led by: Erin Forrest, Hannah Vogel, Liz Rea, Kelsey Mohring & Meghan Curran.

The third panel Branding and Planning the Career of Your Dreams with: Andrew Savage, Lisa Mees, & Rachael Seda.

The fourth panel Networking Like an All Star: The Ins and Outs of Building Professional Relationships with: Kaitlin Kilduff, Rachael Seda, Nikki Parrotte & Rebecca Knorr.

The final panel Inside the World of Public Relations: From Day to Day to the Big Picture with : Meghan Ely, Kelsey Mohring, Katie Casey & Kara Frank.

 

Beyond the panels there was a Recruiting Session with Kaitlyn Kilduff.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To close off the eventful day there was an Alumni Awards Picnic on the lawn behind Harrison Hall. The picnic consisted of great food and a lot of mingling between the alumni, students and faculty members.

There was a great turn-out for all of the following events.

Multiple students stated how informative and beneficial the different events were. Students also stated how the alumni seemed so enthusiastic to be back which also made the events extremely enjoyable.
