The JMU 3SPACE classroom is ready for Fall 2017 with ten new 3D printers incorporated into our classroom stations:  five fancy Ultimaker 2+’s and five even fancier Ultimaker 3’s.

With these new printers we’ll be able to design and print even more complicated 3D models, and just in time; this semester 3SPACE launches two new General Education courses that will be able to make use of this new capacity: MATH 103: The Nature of Mathematics, and ART 300E: 3D Printing and the Creative Community. Get ready for fractals, four-dimensional representations of objects, and everything our art students can dream up!

Once the semester gets rolling we may have some even more exciting news… a new 3SPACE location!?… stay tuned!
