Urban ‘Characters’ in Latin America during the era of Covid-19
In Fall 2020, students in Dr. McCleary’s Urban Latin American history [Hist 302] researched a Latin American city and developed an urban “character” based on that research. They located that character in a neighborhood, and described who their character(s) lived with and what occupied their time [family, studies, work]. Students tried to then understand how this individual and his/her community was impacted by Covid-19.
The posts are organized by city overview, urban character, and then how Covid-19 impacts their character. This is followed by bibliographies that correspond to each of these parts and then authors of the post. ¡Que disfruten!
