Immigrant Stories Project

The Immigrant Stories Project documents and archives the stories of immigrants connected to students in Dr. Trouille’s Sociology of Immigration course at James Madison University. Through these poignant stories, students learn about the individual experiences of migration they examine more broadly in class. We hope the stories they collected, transcribed, and analyzed foster greater understanding of immigrants’ unique struggles and contributions.
