JMU’s
General Education Program is piloting a series of small, innovative, 300-level integrative thinking courses. Over the last three years, 16 faculty have offered 13 separate courses to 400 students. There are three pilot courses running in Fall 2018, 5 courses running Spring 2019, 4 courses running Fall 2019, 4 courses running Spring 2020 and 6 more will open for Fall 2020 enrollment (See below). Eligible students are juniors, seniors, and transfers with more than 49 credits. Students who have not yet completed their Cluster One Critical Thinking requirement will get first priority; remaining seats will be available during Open Enrollment.
