One of the coolest things I’ve seen all semester is the 3D print of a folding ruler. This ruler was created as a class challenge which only makes this print more impressive. The ruler was designed on Fusion 360 (a software I personally find very frustrating) and was successfully designed and printed in one class period! I really enjoyed this project because it stretched the imagination of what 3D printers can do. Most people associate 3D prints with knick knacks, this project however is practical and dynamic! This is the first time I had ever witnessed a 3D print that could be folded in half and it is inspiring to know this came from my very talented classmates. This project was definitely a highlight of the semester!
