3-D Printing is the new and exciting technology that is shaking the world!
The article 3-D Printing Will Change the World from the Harvard Business Review gives a great explanation of what exactly 3-D printing is and how it will effect our society. Not having to ship goods from different countries will cut the costs and goods will become more customized and won’t require nearly as much tweaking which usually costs extra. Overall, a much cheaper method to manufacture goods.
As you can see, 3-D printing can do much for our economy such as making bikes. Pretty soon we will be able to make almost anything through 3-D printing:

This is a great video with 3-D printing experts explaining how 3-D printing will affect retail. They talk about the many companies that now have their own 3-D printers and how there are companies such as Shapeways that can create 3-D objects and deliver.
