In one of the most ambitious final projects to date, GSCI 104 Spring 2015 students Chris Jezior & Michelle Healey produced a model of the quad for installation in the JMU Admissions Office. 
The individual models were all produced from pictures of campus using Tinkercad! Each model took over an hour to produce the final print (not to mention all the test prints). The models were then painted and attached to a foam and fabric base.
A photo of the model in situ will be provided soon.
Looking forward: although a contour map of campus provided by Admissions was too large and complicated of a file to even open with our current resources in the 3SPACE, our senior lab manager Patrick Moran is setting up a new-to-us computer that might be able to do the job!
