Kenneth Busic and I hosted an outreach event which was open to any of our graphic design classmates who wanted to take their personal brand to the next level, as Kenny had done. We informed them of the event and got some immediate feedback from those who were interested.
The date had been set and many had said they wanted to attend. When it was finally time to meet there were a lot less people than we had expected. Regardless, the determined few left with satisfaction after we had helped them through printing a few of the desired logos.
The event not only helped our classmates take their brand to the next level but it helped Kenny and I get to know the printing programs and process a bit better. With so many programs to learn in such a short time, the only way to really learn the basics of each is with practice. The printers can be moody so patience and problem solving are definitely necessary when dealing with anything 3D printing.
