I had the pleasure of interviewing Anna Soyka about her 3D printed model of the famous Tower Bridge in London, England.

What was you inspiration or motive to create a model of Tower Bridge?

I was doing a presentation about the Tower Bridge in another class, so it was forefront of your mind.

Have you had the opportunity to visit England and see the Tower Bridge for yourself?

No I have not yet

Were you able to keep the dimensions to scale in your model?

No I just estimated based of of photos online

What software did you use to model the bridge?

Tinkercad

What is a smooth process or did you run into any problems along the way?

The designing of it was smooth, however the printing was annoying because the suspension cords never printed the way I wanted them to.

If you were to create this model again would you do anything differently?

Make the draw-bridge able to move, and also make it more to scale.

Now that you have had the opportunity to try out several other CAD software do you think Tinkercad was the best software you could have used to create this Tower Bridge model?

Yeah I think it was the best option since all of the components are geometric shapes
