If it can be imagined, it can be made.  And object can be created in a matter of minutes as long as it can fit within the given plane.  3D printers are allowing anyone with access to them to created the most amazing things wheteher it be replacement plastic pieces or an entire fashion line. But what will happen when 3D printers become a home staple?

Prices for some models are already in a low enough range that even schools can afford at least one. When every home had a 3D printer, people will have whatever plastic items they want as long as they can create the design.  And if they’re not fortunate enough to be bitten by the creativity bug, then they can certainly download files of other people’s designs.  They could even buy a 3D scanner and instantly recreate real objects.

The future price of the 3-D printer can affect its popularity. Originally inkjet printers were too expensive for the ordinary home to have. But today these types of printers are in nearly every home throughout the country. Perhaps in 30 years the 3-D printer will be as common as a regular printer is today.

3-D printers will surely shape the mind of future generations to be more creative. If the technology was available to all homes, children can learn at a younger age the aspects of geometry and measurements. Having such an important learning tool in homes may help kids be more focused on learning new things.
