January 31, 2024. Dr. Gianluca De Fazio recently released a new digital project: Memorializing Racial Terror: Lynching Markers in the United States. This project catalogs and maps all the historical markers commemorating victims of lynching in the United States, thus documenting recent efforts by activists, communities, organizations, and institutions to revive the collective memory of lynching and racial terror across the country.
I’d love to discuss an agricultural project I’m aiming on working towards that relates to this directly. I’m so intrigued and grateful for the work you, your students, and fellow activists have put into creating a landscape of transparency.
