We started our day with the lovely privilege of sleeping in until 8:30! And, it was such a treat after our 6:30 wake-up call for the hospital. At breakfast, we all devoured several plates of the homemade french toast, fresh pineapple, and Africafe instant coffee. Once we were full and happy, we then walked over to Stella Maris Primary School. We played monkey in the middle and frisbee, made friendship bracelets, and gave out stickers and bubbles. The kids were so adorable, and they loved having us there! Some even asked if we’d be back on Monday to play with them.
This afternoon, we were invited to attend a class with the 3rd year nursing students at Machame Hospital. The class focused on Leadership and Management- specifically, the process of delegation.
