When considering the use of the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki most people consider the morality of such a weapon. Not as many consider the real reasons behind the bomb, or what other options may have been available. The bombings on August 6th and 9th were racially motivated and unnecessary to achieve the result of ending the war.
