After the end of World War I, Germany was left crippled and was filled with widespread poverty. Adolf Hitler emerged as the leader that would pull Germany out of the ground and lead them to a prosperous nation. Throughout the time that Hitler and the Nazis ran Germany, he had massive support from the German people. Despite his popularity, Hitler made enemies that aimed to remove him from power not only from foreign powers but from within his own nation as well.
