When you were growing up, were you taught about the War of 1812? Me neither. This podcast discusses Jenna Brown’s paper titled, “New England’s Opposition to the War of 1812” and it contains information about the War of 1812 while discussing the topic of why the people living in New England at the time were against the war. Brown argues that the reason the New Englanders were against the War of 1812 was due to a multitude of economic issues that they were presented with that came as a result of the war effort.
