Mass-produced media, specifically newspapers, has been a means to spread news and opinions about a wide array of topics, especially politics, throughout human history. Specifically focusing on Boston, this podcast discusses the influence of Bostonian Patriot newspapers on the road from resistance to British authority to downright revolution against the British Empire, arguing that the newspapers were from a city holding a culture of resistance that were factored into the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the catalyst of revolution.
