On November 18, 1978, 900 members of The People’s Temple movement willingly drank “Kool-Aid” mixed with cyanide in what is known as the largest mass suicide in human history. One of the many unanswered questions is what was the reasoning for these people to end their lives? Jim Jones: their leader, their Father, and some even saw as their god, was the mastermind minister behind the start of the church to carrying out the revolutionary suicide himself. His actions and motives were the sole reason on why so many innocent lives were lost.
