Today started with our final clinical. It was bittersweet to leave all of the staff and patients that I had gotten to know over the past two weeks. Being able to observe medicine in another country was an incredible experience.
Following clinical we all had lunch in various parts of the city. Next I was off to do some souvenir shopping (mom and dad if you’re reading this, yes that means you).
For dinner we made our way down to the port for a barbecue hosted by Clive, the same person who taught us our cooking class last week. There was lots of delicious food, live music, and great company. It was very fun to chat with the sailors that were docked there and hear them share their stories.
