I designed this page around the question of “How might we improve the experience of students trying to discover new restaurants in the town of Harrisonburg?”. With this question, I conducted user research, made a cart sorting activity, and user story narratives.
The purpose of the user research is to get a feel of what the user’s want within the app. It allows me to design my app around the needs of the users. The card sort activity can act as a test, to see if the users will find the site easy enough to use, and if there is anything I would need to remove, specify, etc. Finally, the user story narratives make it possible for the users to express their likes and dislikes about the site, and I can showcase the story grid designed for this site.
Overall, I want this site to be as easy to use as possible. I can see what my users want, and I will use this website to demonstrate those needs through my pages and posts.
