Sarah O’Connor is a Professor in the School of Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA, where she teaches courses ranging from Language, Law and Ethics to Prison Writing. She has published numerous articles in such places as Reflections, Writing on the Edge, and The Virginia Quarterly Review. This project grew out of work with students in her Prison Writing course.
