Alexis is a student in the School of Media Arts and Design and is concentrating in Creative Advertising. She is always looking for new ways to be creative! After college, she hopes to work at  an advertising agency as an Art Director.

Abigail Carney

Abigail Carney is Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication major with a minor in Communication Studies and Pre-Law. After she obtains her bachelor’s degree, she hopes to attend a law school in Virginia. Her goal is to become a family law attorney, specializing in divorce and custody cases.

Alana is studying Creative Advertising and Graphic Design at James Madison University. She is passionate about design and always looks for opportunities to apply what she learns to real life experiences. After college, Alana hopes to work in the digital world creating campaigns or designing projects for companies.

Ashley Doss

Ashley loves to travel and write. She is currently a Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication major at James Madison University. Following graduation, Ashley plans to go to law school and her eventual goal is to be a criminal defense attorney. She hopes to use her passion for writing to help and inspire others.

Alexandra is a Media Arts and Design major with a concentration in Digital Video and Cinema. She loves visual storytelling and can often be found taking pictures and videos with her camera. After graduation, Alexandra aspires to work in the media industry as a documentary producer and director.

Peter Friesen is a Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication major with a concentration in Writing and Rhetoric and a minor in Music Industry. He hopes to use writing in his career and pursue music on his own.

Jackson Heverly

Jackson is a Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication major with a focus in Technical and Scientific Communication. He is passionate about web design as well as rock climbing and skiing. His aspirations include working for an environmental company in their outreach programs, travelling the world.

Madison Jones

Senior

Madison is an English major with a Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication minor. She enjoys live music, writing poetry, and spending time with friends. After graduation, Madison will be going to Florida to work as an intern for the mental health nonprofit organization To Write Love on Her Arms.

Megan is a Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication major at James Madison University with a focus in writing and rhetoric. She is passionate about using her writing to uncover the truth and provide justice. After college, she wants to become an investigative journalist.

Lillie Moller is a Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication major with a concentration in Technical Communication at James Madison University. Lillie hopes to use writing in her future career and pursue a path of copywriting or editing for a magazine in a big city of her dreams.

Kayla is a Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication major with a focus in Writing and Rhetoric at James Madison University. After college, Kayla hopes to work in journalism or some type of legal writing.

Carley Prendergast

Carley Prendergast is a Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication major at James Madison University. She currently works as a Digital/Social Media Intern at the local PBS station, VPM Harrisonburg. After college, Carley hopes to find employment in the media industry and live in New York City.

Matthew Sasser is a Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication and Media Art and Design major at James Madison University. His goal is to work for a newspaper as a journalist.

Jenna Simkins

Jenna is a nature enthusiast who loves to travel to other countries and live life in the moment. Currently, she is working towards achieving a major in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communications with a minor in Educational Media. She plans to move to Utah after completing her schooling and hopes to one day teach composition at a community college.

Leah Smith is a Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communication major with a concentration in Writing and Rhetoric and a minor in Medical Humanities. Following graduation, she hopes to attend a graduate program that focuses on advocacy and justice. Her goal is to use her voice to help others in need.
