Travel directions to Festival Conference and Student Center (East Campus Parking Deck)
Festival Conference and Student Center: 1301 Carrier Dr, Harrisonburg, VA 22807
Traveling north on 81, take exit 245 and turn right. Immediately get into the left turning lane. Make a left onto Forest Hill Rd. At the stop sign, make a left onto Oak Hill Road (which turns into University Boulevard). Continuing on University Boulevard, the Convocation Center will be on the left followed by the Arboretum on the right. Turn left at the stoplight onto Carrier Drive. The Festival Conference and Student Center is 0.25 mile on the left.
Traveling south on 81, take exit 245 and turn left. After crossing over the highway, get into the left turning lane. Make a left onto Forest Hill Rd. At the stop sign, make a left onto Oak Hill Road (which turns into University Boulevard). Continuing on University Boulevard, the Convocation Center will be on the left followed by the Arboretum on the right. Turn left at the stoplight onto Carrier Drive. If traveling on Route 11/South Main Street, go to the Port Republic Road and South Main Street intersection. Turn east onto Port Republic Road and go to the fourth stoplight. Make a left onto Forest Hill Rd. At the stop sign, make a left onto Oak Hill Road (which turns into University Boulevard). Continuing on University Boulevard, the Convocation Center will be on the left followed by the Arboretum on the right. Turn left at the stoplight onto Carrier Drive. The Festival Conference and Student Center is 0.25 mile on the left.
Parking
Parking for the TLT Conference will be available in the East Campus Parking Deck. East Campus Parking Deck can be accessed off of University Boulevard or through parking lot D3 off of Carrier Drive. Follow signs for “East Campus Drive” and enter East Campus Parking Deck at the North Entrance. Access to the conference center will be taking staircase A or D (staircases closest to Carrier Drive), and following signs to campus access. Please be aware of construction happening next to the parking deck.
Non-JMU participants can park on any level of the deck. JMU faculty and staff have reserved parking on level G of the parking deck. JMU students with a commuter pass may park on levels 2-4.
Off-campus visitors will not be required to have a permit. All regulations for JMU students, faculty, and staff will remain in effect.
Directions to the Registration Desk
Cross over Carrier Drive using the pedestrian crosswalk near the JMU bus stop/shelter. Enter the first entryway from the crosswalk, and continue straight. The registration table will be to your right. There is also an accessibility ramp located to the left of the first entryway, and the registration desk will be straight from that entrance.
