This is a terrific and deeply distressing database. But why is David Thomas included if in fact he was not lynched?
Terry, thank you for your comment. David Thomas was previously indicated as a lynching victim; this project revised the existing inventory and found out that indeed he was not lynched. It is important for historical accuracy to present the documentation also for those cases that turned out not to be lynching after all. Sorry for the confusion, Gianluca
