Staci Altizer (English major, 2013) is a sophomore at James Madison University. She hopes to be a high school or college english professor with a focus on early British literature after graduation. Her interests are classic novels and playing the piano. She contributed the annotations for “To Brooklyn Bridge.”

Rian Brusoski (English major, Art History minor, 2011) plans on taking a year off to travel and then plans to attend graduate school to recieve her Master of Library Science.  She worked on the annotations to “Cape Hatteras” and “Three Songs.”

Mike Ciecierski (English major/ Creative Writing minor 2012) After graduating, he will most likely be spending a lot of time volunteering on farms to prolong getting a “real” job. He worked on annotations to “Quaker Hill”, “The Tunnel” and “Atlantis.”

Kayla Corbett (English Major, minor Women’s Studies, 2012). Upon completing her bachelor’s degree in 2012 Kayla plans on working in publishing. She has worked on annotations to “Quaker Hill,” “The Tunnel,” and “Atlantis.”

Camille Corum (English, Writing & Rhetoric, 2013) is an editor for e-Vision: A Journal of First-Year Writing and she’s a peer tutor at JMU’s University Writing Center. She will study literary critical theory and the British novel at Oxford University in 2012. Camille also plans to study for her Doctoral degree in English Literature after she graduates from JMU. She worked on annotations for “Cape Hatteras,” “Southern Cross,” “National Winter Garden,” and “Virginia.”

Beth Davies (English, Media Arts & Design: Converged Media major; British Communication and Media minor, 2013). A northern Virginia native, Beth aspires to be employed after graduation, anywhere but Northern Virginia, or volunteering abroad while taking a breather before graduate studies. She worked on the annotations for “The River,” “The Dance,” “Indiana,” and “Cutty Sark.”

Danielle DiBari (English major, Secondary Education minor, 2012), She has studied at James Madison University, Danielle plans to finish her college career, pursue a career in education, live by the beach, and see where life takes her . She has worked on the annotations to “Ave Maria,” “To Brooklyn Bridge,” “Harbor Dawn,” and “Van Winkle.”

Justin Filiaggi (Marketing major, Creative Writing minor, 2013). Hailing from West Chester, Pennsylvania Justin is currently in his second year of studies at James Madison University. He is a member of the club soccer team and boarderline snowboard club. He hopes to one day start his own proprietorship within the sales industry. Justin worked on the annotations for “The River,” “The Dance,” “Indiana,” and “Cutty Sark.”

Sarah L. Fletcher (English major, Justice Studies major, 2013). She aspires to attend law school after graduation to become a prosecutor, despite the daunting realities of the cost. She worked on the annotations for “The River,” “The Dance,” “Indiana,” and “Cutty Sark.”

Kathryn A. Jenkins (English, Secondary Education, Teaching English as a Second Language, 2011). Kathryn will graduate this Spring and she plans to continue attending James Madison University this summer to pursue her Masters of Education. Kathryn hopes to be a high school English or ESL teacher through the Teach for America agency or off in a foreign country of unknown destination. She has worked on the annotations to “The River,” “The Dance,” “Indiana,” and “Cutty Sark.”

Hakar O. Mirzarostme (English Major, 2011). She worked on the annotations to “To Brooklyn Bridge,” “Quaker Hill”.

Samuel J. Nowak (Philosophy, 2012). After completing a B.A. in Philosophy and Writing and Rhetoric, Sam plans on taking a break from further school to save money and go back to writing music with his band. Sam is from Alexandria, VA. He worked on the annotations to “Cape Hatteras” and “Three Songs.”

Kelsey E. Peters (English; Writing, Rhetoric and Technical Communication, 2012) She is from Chesapeake, Virginia. Kelsey plans to write and edit for magazines and small publications after graduation. She worked on the annotations to “Ave Maria,” “To Brooklyn Bridge,” “Harbor Dawn,” and “Van Winkle.”

Joshua M. Shaheen (English, 2011). Josh plans on taking a year off before pursuing his Masters in English. In the meantime, Josh will continue to play in the local Harrisonburg indie band Hey Girl! who will be recording their first full-length album this summer. He worked on the annotations to “Van Winkle.”

Kelsey L. Smith (English, 2011). After completing her Bachelor of Arts at James Madison University, Kelsey plans on attending Law School in hopes of pursuing a career as a Civil Rights attorney. She worked on the annotations to “Cape Hatteras,” “Southern Cross,” “National Winter Garden,” and “Virginia.”

Kathleen Thompson is currently a Junior at James Madison University. She is majoring in Political Science, and double-minoring in both English and Humanitarian Affairs.   She is working with an Ameri-Corps program this summer, and plans to apply to the Peace Corps after graduation in 2012. Her interests include cycling, hiking, running, sky-diving, and going off-roading. She has worked on the annotations to “The River.”

Mary Clare B. Tracy (English major; studio art and special education double minor, 2012) plans to pursue a PhD in literature after taking a year off post-graduation to see what the “real world” has to offer. In her free time, Mary Clare enjoys hiking, biking, painting, photography and coffee. She contributed to annotations of “To Brooklyn Bridge,” “Ave Maria,” “The Harbor Dawn,” and “Van Winkle.”

Kelsey Vest (English and Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Design, 2011) After completing her Bachlor of Arts degree in English and Bachlor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design in May 2011, Kelsey plans on pursuing a career as a Graphic Designer. She worked on the annotations to “Quaker Hill,” “The Tunnel” and “Atlantis.”
