Co-Imagining Futures
working with experts across disciplinary and institutional boundariesCo-Imagining Futures Workshops
In our on-going Co-Imagining Futures Workshops, we invite one or more experts to the STS Futures Lab to collaboratively engage in Creative Anticipatory Ethical Reasoning (CAER) on a topic related to their expertise (See also a publication on CAER here). Our invited experts select the topic, and prior to the workshop they select several readings for the Lab to help the Lab develop a baseline understanding of the topic, and to identify potential drivers and scenario crosses that might be relevant for understanding plausible future trajectories related to it. Following a short interview with the expert(s), the workshop begins, lasting approximately 2 hours. STS Futures Lab students are co-facilitators of the workshops. Read more here.
