Cleveland Chubb Club Secures First Season Win Over Colossus

CLEVELAND, OH – The Clevland Chubb Club (CCC) secured a 20.64-point edge over the Brooklyn Colossus in the exciting week four matchup at Great Lakes Stadium, winning 128.10-107.68. 

Cleveland’s standout performances included running back Jordan Mason, who rushed for 123 yards and scored two touchdowns, earning 24.00 points. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb also shone with 98 receiving yards and a touchdown, contributing 23.60 points. Together, they combined for 38.8 points for the Chubb Club.

Wide receiver Mike Evans added 23.40 points with 98 receiving yards and a touchdown but will sit out Week 5 due to a knee injury.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed 65.5% of his passes, including one interception and one touchdown during the final offensive drive for the Chubb Club.

“We knew we had a lot of time on the clock. We knew we had some timeouts, so we didn’t rush,” Mahomes said. “We just kind of went through what we do every single day at practice and everything like that, and we executed.” Mahomes finished with 13 points.

Cleveland will aim to improve its rushing yards moving forward in the season, with Mahomes rushing 12 yards and running back Zack Moss only rushing 51 yards.

Now at 1-3, the Cleveland Chubb Club will face the 1-3 Boston Fourth Quarter in their upcoming divisional matchup.
