Omaha Cobs get their second win of the season against the Honolulu Hammerheads- Week #6 Game Note

OMAHA, Neb.- The Cobs had a fantastic performance in week 6, sealing the win at home against our conference rivals Honolulu Hammerheads (115.38-84.66)

The Cobs were led by quarterback Geno Smith this week. He did not put up any touchdowns or interceptions, but he threw for 197 yards and put up 20.68 fantasy points. Star running back Christian McCafferey also had a big impact in our win this week. He finished with 22.80 fantasy points.

Wide receiver Allen Lazard also a stellar performance. Quarterback Geno Smith targeted Lazard most of the game. Wide receiver Allen Lazard caught 4 receptions for 76 yards, recording 1 touchdown. He recorded 17.60 fantasy points.

In the post-game conference, Interim coach New Cobman was asked about Jarvis Landry’s injury update.

“Jarvis is making progress each day. His return date is not yet solidified, but the Cobs medical staff is working hard to make sure he comes back healthy soon.”

The Omaha Cobs are now 2-4 and move on to week 7. This upcoming week we play the 13th seed, the Charleston Crabs. Can the Cobs pull off another win against the Charleston Crabs (1-5) in week 7?
