TORONTO– The struggles for the Toronto Mounties continue in Week 6, as they fall to the St. Louis Bison, with a score of 112.34-80.12.
Despite the loss, wide receiver Chase Claypool had a standout performance with seven receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown tallying 23.40 total points. Fellow wide receiver Cooper Kupp continued his consistent play with seven receptions for 80 yard jotting16.70 total points.
The Mounties’ solid offensive play were outmatched by the performances of St. Louis. Bison’s wide receiver Stefon Diggs who caught ten passes for 148 yards totaling 31.80 points. Running back Breece Hall also chipped in by rushing for 116 yards with a touchdown gathering 21.10 total points.
In the post -game press conference, Head Coach Hayden Raymer assured the fans, “We may be going through a rough patch at the moment, however, we know what we are capable of as a team and that this losing streak will not continue.”
The loss drops the Mounties’ record to 2-4.
Toronto will be visiting the Camping World Stadium next week, as they look to bounce back in a week 7 matchup against the Orlando Crocodiles.
