Honolulu.- The Honolulu Hammerheads went up against the Omaha Cobs for their week six matchup, ultimately  losing 115.38-84.66

This was not a great week for the Hammerheads. With both the Jaguars defense and running back Jeff Wilson getting a combined total of -1.50 points, the Hammerheads would’ve been better off starting no one in those positions.

In addition, Hammerheads quarterback Carson Wentz suffered a ring finger injury relatively early on in the game, which resulted in him only getting 6.16 points and having to sit out of the next 4 to 6 games, which will definitely be  a setback for the Hammerheads.

While there were a few shortcomings this matchup, once again tight end Travis Kelce scored the most points for the Hammerheads with a total of 20.20 points. Kielce had eight receptions covering a total of 108 yards, and rushed for four yards.

“This was a hard fought game, and it’s evident that all members of the Hammerheads gave it their all. But it is also evident that due to the current circumstances, there needs to be a few changes to our lineup. We have a very tough matchup next week against the St. Louis Bison, and the Hammerheads will need to be performing at their best to win.” Head coach Polula Hapau said at a press-conference following the game.
