OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City Oxen were defeated against the Orlando Crocodiles in Orlando, with an overall score of 113.68 to 126.10. However, Oxen running back James Robinson accomplished 100 rushing yards, allowing the Oxen to stay in the game.
RB James Robinson carried the team with 100 rushing yards, one touchdown, and 16 receiving yards, totaling 24.60 Fantasy Points. Robinson has been a vital asset to the team and has continued to improve with every game. Robinson was injured at the beginning of the season but expressed, “If I had limitations, I wouldn’t be out there. But I feel good, and I’ll go out there to be me again.”
The Oxen wide receivers, Greg Dortch and Diontae Johnson, also played an impressive game earning the Oxen a combined 34.60 SCOM Fantasy points. Greg Dortch totaled 18.20 points with nine receptions, 80 receiving yards, and 12 returning yards. Diontae Johnson has eight receptions and 84 receiving yards, finishing with 16.40 points.
WR Noah Brown scored 10.40 points with five receptions and 54 receiving yards. Crocodiles’ WR DeVonta Smith had one touchdown, eight receptions, and 169 receiving yards, adding up to 33.10 points.
The Crocodiles’ QB, Josh Allen, dominated the field and played an all-around stronger game than Justin Herbert, the Oxen’s QB. Josh Allen attempted 63 passes, with 42 completions, leaving him with 21 incompletions. He threw for 400 yards with two touchdowns and had three fumbles, leading him to 46.70 points. Justin Herbert attempted 45 passes, 25 of which were completions, with 20 incompletions. Herbert threw for 297 yards, one touchdown, had seven rushing yards, and had one fumble, scoring 16.58 points.
The Oklahoma City Oxen will square off against the Salt Lake City Seagulls next week in Salt Lake. The Seagulls have won one game and lost two games, while the Oxen have lost all three games. This match-up will have high energy since both teams are determined to improve their losing record this season.
