ORANGE ALLIGATORS DEFEAT HARRISONBURG BLUE STREAKS
ORLANDO, Fla. – Coming off their first loss of the season, the Orlando Orange Alligators got back to their winning ways this week, defeating the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks 123.20-84.66. The Orange Alligators move to 7-1, while the Blue Streaks drop to 4-4.
Quarterback Tom Brady led the way for Orlando, passing for four touchdowns and 375 yards en route to a 45.20-point performance, which was the second-highest point total by any player this week. The Orange Alligators also got a strong performance by wide receiver A.J. Brown, who had 155 receiving yards and a touchdown to rack up 34.50 points.
For the Blue Streaks, wide receiver Cole Beasley led the way, recording 21.00 points off 110 receiving yards. Harrisonburg quarterback Kyler Murray passed for 274 with no touchdowns and two interceptions, and ran for 21 yards as he scored 19.06 points.
“We went in with a good gameplan, and we executed it to perfection,” Brady said.
Both sides did have a player put up zero points — wide receiver Antonio Brown for Orlando and kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn for Harrisonburg. The Orange Alligators also got -2.00 points from kicker Austin Selbert.
Orlando next goes on the road and plays the Phoenix Flames on Sunday. Gametime is set for 8:20 pm on NBC.
