Orange Alligators Remain Undefeated in Week 4

ORLANDO, Fla. – Rushing into week four, the Orlando Orange Alligators defeated the Salt Lake City River Otters with a score of 134.36-121.32. This was the first meeting between the two teams.

 

At the second home game of the season, the Orange Alligators secured a win with the most considerable contribution of wide receiver D.J. Moore. He received an outstanding 113 yards and contributed two touchdowns to Monday’s game, picking up 32.90 fantasy points. Quarterback Tom Brady set the record for all-time leader for most pass yards, outnumbering Drew Brees who had 80,358 yards in his career. The defense had three sacks, four interceptions and one fumble, adding 23 fantasy points to the board. The game came down to tight end Jared Cook as he put the final touchdown in the books.

 

At a post-game press conference, Orlando’s head coach Bruce Arians shared his excitement as the Alligators continue on a winning streak.

 

“These players had a great bond in training camp and now you’re getting to see it week after week,” Arians said.

 

“I was pretty confident coming into this game with the plan we had,” Brady said. “We all put in the work and it definitely has paid off.”

On the opposing team, running back Nick Chubb rushed 21 times for his first 100-yard effort, while tight end Robert Tonyan only caught two passes, picking up eight yards for the River Otters. The defense only allowed six points and is looking to advance for next week.

Next week, the Orange Alligators will compete against second seed Honolulu Riptides on Sunday, Oct. 10. The game is set for 8 p.m. at the Aloha Stadium and will be broadcast on KHNL and on 94.1 FM.
