SAN ANTONIO- San Antonio Generals beat Honolulu Volcanoes 109.98 to 84.62.
The Volcanoes started off strong until Sunday at 1pm when the Generals took the lead. Teddy Bridgewater was the MVP on Sunday for the Generals, earning the team 41.82 points. He threw 313 yards and threw two touchdowns. This was his best week of the season.
Running back Josh Jacobs also played an incredible game. He scored the Generals 22.50 points. He had a seven yard touchdown mid-afternoon Sunday. This was his best week of the season since week 1.
“I am incredibly proud of the way our team played this week. The teamwork shown on the field was what was the real win. I am excited for next week to keep the momentum going and the spirits up. Go Generals!” Said head coach Will Byrnes at the post game press conference.
Next week the Generals take on the Portland Beavers in Portland, Ore. Kick off is at 1pm on Sunday EST.
