LAS VEGAS, Oct. 22, 2019 – The Las Vegas Jokers defeated the Harrisonburg Valley Bees 137.58 to 129.24 this Thursday at Bellagio Stadium. Jokers flex Quarter-Back Jacoby Brissett passed an outstanding four touchdowns to rake in 40.64 points and set his career high for passing yards with 326 passing yards, officially making him the star of the show. The Jokers move into eighth place with a 2-5 record.
Both teams’ wide receivers had tremendous showings. Jokers wide receiver, Michael Thomas, earned 23.10 points. Harrisonburg Bee’s wide receiver, Marvin Jones, was electric scoring 43.30 points, becoming the highest score of any wide receiver in the league for Week 7.
Other key players for the Jokers included tight end, Jimmy Graham with 16.50 and running back, LeSean McCoy gaining 9.60 points. Jimmy Graham had 65 receiving yards and snagged the fourth-highest score of any tight end this week.
“We knew coming into this game that we had to play Jacoby Brissett specially to earn us a lead against the Bees, I am really glad our decision played out so well,” said Head Coach Nate Rivi. He went on to explained, “Marvin Jones had me sweating out there, but I could not have asked for a better game from these boys.”
Harrisonburg Valley Bees running back, Josh Jacobs, ground out 21 carries for 124 yards this week bringing in an impressive 17.40 points. Other key players for the Bees were their kicker, Justin Tucker, as he ranked fourth among the kickers and rang in 12 points. The Harrisonburg Valley Bees currently remain in their coveted seventh place spot for the SCOM365 Fantasy Classic League.
The Las Vegas Jokers (2-5) will head to Long Beach, CA to go up against the Long Beach Ligers (2-5). To catch the Week 8 game tune in to KNTV and KBAD radio at 7:30 p.m.
