PRESCOTT, LIGERS OFFENSE STRONG IN SEASON OPENER
LONG BEACH, Calif. – The Long Beach Ligers took down the Portland Purple Cobras Sunday night at the Ligers Den. Dak Prescott led the Ligers in points with 53.40 giving them a win with a score of 166.20 to 128.82 points over the Purple Cobras.
Prescott achieved the most points in the league this week with a total of 405 passing yards and 4 touchdowns.
“It felt good to put up four touchdowns for the Liger Nation” tweeted Prescott.
T.Y Hilton earned the Ligers the second most points racking up 87 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns, earning the team 28.70 points. This makes Hilton the 6th highest point earner of any wide receiver this week.
This Ligers win, makes them 4th in the league. General Manager Sarah Salzman was pleased with the games out come.
